  Population Estimates Estimates of population and households for every county and community in Southeast Michigan. Estimates are provided on an annual and monthly basis. New annual report.

  Regional Forecast The Regional Development Forecast (RDF) provides population and household numbers at five-year intervals for 233 communities and 1,442 subcommunity areas across Southeast Michigan.
  Historical Population Decennial population counts from 1900-2000 are listed for each county, township, village, and city that existed during the time period in Southeast Michigan.

Economy and Jobs


  Employment Estimates Estimates of place-of-work employment that provide a detailed view of economic change at the community level. The estimates cover the time period March 1999 to March 2002.
  Regional Forecast The Regional Development Forecast (RDF) provides employment numbers at five-year intervals for 233 communities and 1,442 subcommunity areas across Southeast Michigan.
  Employment by Sector This report contains tables of SEMCOG employment estimates for sixteen employment sectors. The data is reported at five-year intervals from 2005 through future year 2035 at the regional, county, and community level. New forecasted employment report.

  Historical Employment Decennial employment counts from 1970-2000 are listed for each county, township, village, and city that existed during the time period in Southeast Michigan.
  Nonresidential Construction Summary of nonresidential development occurring in the Southeast Michigan region in 2007. It covers newly constructed buildings, additions and renovations to existing buildings, and redevelopment of various types of projects such as industrial, warehouse, retail, institutional, and office buildings.
  Taxable Value Taxable values per capita in 1990 and 2000 are compared for each community in Southeast Michigan.

Housing


  Building Permits Monthly residential building permit counts for every county and community from 1969 to the present.
  Residential Construction Information on new residential construction, including manufactured housing, occurring in each county and community in Southeast Michigan in 2007 compared with previous years.

  Manufactured Housing Manufactured housing parks are defined as those parks containing three of more sites licensed by the State of Michigan. This dataset includes the name and location of manufactured housing parks and number of sites within the park.

Transportation


  Transportation Data Map Interactive map of intersections and roads in Southeast Michigan provides a visual method of searching our road network database.
  Intersections and Roads A database of major intersections and roads with detailed transportation attributes, including pavement condition, traffic volume, and crashes, for each feature.
  Traffic Counts Identify the amount of traffic (stated in 24-hour time period) for specific road segments in Southeast Michigan communities. Please note that not all road segments have traffic counts.
  High-Crash Intersections Create a list of the intersections with the highest number of crashes for any community in the region. Each report provides a five-year total for each intersection, and yearly totals for trend analysis.

  Traffic Crashes Search for traffic crashes from 1998-2007 that meet a given search criteria.
  Transportation Projects Search the 2008-2011 TIP and 2030 RTP databases for transportation projects that meet a given search criteria, such as county, community, work type, etc.

Land Use


  Land Use Change The land use profile summarizes change in land use and land cover from 1990 to 2000 and provides density and percent developed for each community.
